Summer Fun with Mimi

My grandson has been with us the last few days! I totally forgot how much work a 5 year old is! We have had a whole lotta pancakes, cheese sticks, pizza and ice cream! Everyday we have had an adventure and we only have a few days left....  He is such a sweetheart and I miss them dearly!

A day with the GRANDS..

The GRANDS were out of school this week, so I drove down to East Texas to spend a day with them!  Caldwell Zoo & Chuck E Cheese were on the list for a day of fun!

The map... Jack was in charge of the map ... He kept saying this map was like Dora's!

At this point Jack decided he had a stomach ache and wanted his Mama.. 

Once we got to Chuck E Cheese the stomach ache went away!

My mom come to meet us and watch her GREAT GRANDS play.. think she had a crush on Chuck E Cheese.

Celebrating Jack...

This past weekend my little 4 year GRANDson took the soccer field for the first time! 

Of course it was worth the 171 miles one way to see his excitement! 

He was a little disappointed here - he missed the goal! 

Of course he had blue soccer cleats, his favorite color is blue.. but mostly blue cupcakes are on his hot list right now! 

Running... he loves to run!

Crazy Times... A good crazy!!

Hey friends!  

Thank your for the e-mail and text. I am fine, my family is fine. The year started off with a bang and days just got away from me and this blog that I love. I wanted to let you know you can always find me here and here...  If you ever need me! 

Life at the Blue Cottage is undergoing some changes the last few months. 

We started off with a new roof.... 

We started the paint job the first weekend in December.... What were we thinking??

As you can see here we ripped out all the landscaping.... So looking forward to SPRING!! 

Replaced all rotten boards and painted the garage and the office to Outback Therapy this past weekend! This paint job has been a major undertaking.. at times i wish I had a brick home!

AND .. in the midst of all the holidays, the work we are having done at the Blue Cottage... Grandson is undergoing some tests @Childrens Hospital... Keep us in your prayers...

Nothing like summer camp!!

Did you attend summer camps as a kid... do you remember the excitement? Packing your new swimsuit, a new fluffy beach towel, girly pj's, and meeting new friends?

Well my little almost tween GRANDson and almost too cool for MIMI loves summer camps! 

I love to take & pick him up from camp! Making the top bunk bed perfect for his week stay,  leaving a happy note that he will find at bedtime, meeting the counselor.. and meeting his new friends for the next week...

Crazy week....

It has been a crazy week... Working my business... 1 closing this week and 2 under contract ..  finding time for family....

Closed on this beauty in Heatherwood - Mckinney - Congratualtions to my clients from Iowa! 

Wrote contract on this home a modest 942k!  Located in Frisco 

Wrote contract on this beauty in Rowlett, inspection went great.. awaiting appraisal...

TODAY....

This afternoon I will be packing up and heading down to East Texas to attend the high school Homecoming Game where my daughter is teaching and my sweet GRANDson is attending middle school. If you all follow my blog you know I have been heartbroken, in the adjustment period without them here in town.  

I miss the daily memories, Thursday night Mimi, laughter, their hugs, the way they call my name "MIMI"... 

See why I miss them?
