Celebration~

Today I hosted a celebration for Karla & Steve. Karla lives about 3 minutes from me. I met her when I moved to the historic district about 5 years ago.   If you read her blog you know that her & Steve Mr. Sweetie recently married.  Here are a few pictures of the celebration today at the blue cottage. I used all a few of my silver vintage pieces for decor.  Love this old tea pitcher.  Used a few pieces of vintage crocheted pieces and old lace curtain panel.

Silver platters were out to display food.. I got so excited I forgot to take pictures of all the food! Used my LOVE banner that I found here.... TO CELEBRATE THE LOVE BIRDS!   

I did remember to photograph the yummy cupcakes!!

Please pause for a moment of prayer & silence for Edie... Her beautiful home that she shares with us burnt to the ground. They lost everything.

My heart breaks for her. Although I have never meant Edie, if you read her blog, you know Edie, you know her heart, you know her love for her family, love for God, love for life. She is an inspiration to women.

Edie, Steve, and her three daughters all safe. Thank you God!
