Field Trip- Let's go see Fannie!

Saddle up and ride- we are going down to see my sister Fannie today!
Welcome to Lindale! Home of the Lindale Fighting Eagles! Lindale is the where my two kids graduated high school! Class of 2000 and 2002! and the home of Miranda Lambert! Lindale is beautiful country, life is a bit slower, and everyone knows everyone! This can be a good thing or a bad thing! Although when Fannie and I lived in the same city, I did "try" to behave!
Lindale has beautiful homes.. this is one of my favorites!
This one is FOR SALE! I am going crazy over the potential this little jewel has!

You can buy hog traps OR Tackle! Fishermen and Hunters are serious in this neck of the woods!

You can jam with George Strait or Hank Williams Jr on this station!

Lindale is home of the most beautiful roses! Many, many rose growers in East Texas! Can't you just smell them?

You can ride the John Deere tractor at Fannie's farm!

One of the oldest grocery stores in Lindale.. Don't you love this mural?

Hope you enjoyed the day with Fannie! Fannie, I love you... see you in a few weeks! If you enjoyed our town, holla at us!

p.s.... The ALL STARS WON LAST NIGHT - WE BEAT DENISON! Play South Garland tomorrow night and when we win this one -- we are headed to the quarter finals next Wednesday! Cross your fingers for us!!

Ahh...I love Lindale. Do they still have all the posters up in every business supporting Miranda? Great post! ~Mindy

Is it a good thing that everyone knows you or a bad thing? From my point of view it would be GOOD!

Yes, Lindale is a town I could live in.
