BEFORE: Dining room ~We have had this bistro set from Pier One for about 6 years, I had wanted a old farm table with old farmy type chairs (whatever that is!) and never found what I liked. So with the help of Vicki - transformed this little space. I am just screaming happiness right now.
AFTER:I put this planter in the center of the table for a second.. won't stay there.. Could not wait to show you - so I will set the table another day! Don't you love my rooster fabric? Don't you love love the little toaster covers for the back of the chair? LOVE IT! and ... finally the complete photo of the wall in my mini makeover! I know you are all wondering where I got the giant fork and spoon? Goodwill!! They were brown and ugly and LOML made me leave them outside until they were transformed ... hummmm - 2 hours later... BINGO! Hope you enjoyed the Friday night tour!! Big hugs! Valarie

Hello, ~GORGEOUS!
I do love your kitchen.
Red color palettes and roosters are some of my favorites things to decorate with.
Very pretty fabric.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and your kind words.
I really appreciate it.
You're always welcome!
Have a wonderful weekiend.
~Melissa :)
Valarie,
It looks ADORABLE!! I love your fabric. I really love check gingham, big and small. The Table cover is soooo cute, too. The covers on the back of the chairs remind me of the covers I made for the ugly vinyl chairs we had in our funished apt when my x was in school! The chairs were yellow and brown print a la 50's I made little covers for the tops of the chairs and then covered the bottoms and tacked it underneath. College housing can be really yucky! That was my first attempts to decorate! At age 20!
All of yours are so cute and I like that they just go partially down, is toaster cover the proper term? I've never heard that term before. It really does describe it well! Keep up the good work!!!

Hi Valarie,
I love the black and white rooster fabric, how perfect it looks and I love your red wall!. I think everyone's garden is in need of spring plantings I know mine is too. I really like impatiens for a flower box, but we get to much heat where I live and impatiens need shade, they are a lovely flower.
Have a wonderful day,
Elizabeth
I love the wall...well actually I love all of it but I really love the wall...did you paint that? I painted our floors a couple time kinda on that theme and then we tiled over it....man I love this!
