Just a swingin'

Our entrance from the street. I spotted these old swinging kitchen doors at a recent junk sale and I had the perfect place for them..

LOML (love of my life) wishing he did not have another one of my projects on a Sunday afternoon... thinking how much he loves me!

One swinging door up!

Two swinging doors up! I love how they do not totally close up the space, gives the entrance an element of interest while still making our guests feel welcome!

Loved the faded yellow color -Thoughts??
I am playing today with Coastal Charm,  Work of the Poet, for Tuesday fun!! Pop over and see these wonderful blogs!

So cool!! Love Love Love them!! and agree on them not meeting up..gives the feel of constant motion to me. And the color? I'd pop them with a bold color to contrast with your white. Red? Eggplant? Yellow?
Your yard is SO inviting...so homey! Lovely.

How precious but then I LOVE everything about your home, garden and especially the trailor! As you see, I'm also a Mimi and am so envious of your Thursday Mimi's night (all my grands live out of town) but we do have a "Cousins' Camp" during the summer where I have them all to myself for a whole week! I had to smile at the comment about "having Mimi's night even when he's in college" because last summer the older ones asked me if we'd always have cousins' camp even when they were in college--my answer ... "of course, and even after you're married." I found your cute blog through BJ at Sweet Nothings.

I would paint the swing doors blue like the house!

Great idea! I haven't seen anyone do that before.

Great use of recycled materials.
The yellow is fine or for a real POP of color you could go with a bright red.
