before & after...

Found this at a garage sale.... wasn't crazy about the blue.. 



and the AFTER.... 



Cushions made of oilcloth - if you read my blog you know I use oilcloth for many projects! 
and always use 2 or more fabrics... this is reversible... strawberry vine on one side and polka dots on the other...

I have never sewn with oil cloth...is it easy? is it inexpensive? is it waterproof? I have to recover outside cushions and love the idea of this - should I??

i saw this on mod vintage life....i love what you did with the bench. i did something similar but my bench was pulled from the trash and painted the same blue as your before.....

it looks smashing in red!!

Just bought this EXACT sofa at a vintage shop, with chairs and tables to match! Wanted to paint it red and do turquoise cushions!!! The only problem, I am really not very handy with a sewing machine. Great job and thanks for sharing. Take care, Laura
