What's a Texas girl to do???

Happy Monday to all... I need your help. My wicker dining table and chairs are 28 years old.. and the chairs are literally on their last leg! so..... Yep, I put 3 of them on the curb this week-end! Look at these 3 I found at a thrift store $10 bucks each!! YIPEEE!! I'll take them!

So this is where my hysteria comes in on what color to paint the new junky finds? I have been wanting to add color to the dining area! Check out the other things I have in the dining area ... as you can see black, black and BLACK! What do you think about me painting them different colors.. my fav ruby red, maybe squash yellow, shabby creamy white?? Take a peek at my dining room and LEAVE ME A COMMENT ON WHAT TO DO!!

yOUR CoMmenTs matter... so please help a Texas gal out!

Mmmmm! Well I think red would be good, how about different cushion fabric on each chair? I like the red, yellow but not too sure about the cream color. how about bright white with red fabric? Pick out the colors from the fabric in your window covers? Just a few ideas. will be interested to see what you end up with.

I'd paint them black and then have fun with the cushions, change 'em out with the Holidays and Seasons as you decorate your chandelier and table runners and placemats.

I know whatever you do will be gorgeous! Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Hmmm...I don't know how close your dining room is to your kitchen but if the kitchen is in close proximity to the dining room, I would pick up some of the colors from the kitchen. It looks like you have red and yellow in your kitchen. If you use cushions in your chairs, you could go with some colorful fabric for the cushions and pick a color from the fabric. I usually get my "inspiration" from fabric.

I hope this helps...I'm going to get my paint brush ready and paint my mantle white...hopefully this weekend, if it doesn't rain or the wind isn't blowing 90 mph!

since you've the black and white accents in the room(s) i might go with red at first thought...but that might be a bit much...actually what might be interesting would be to paint the table black or creamy white and paint the chairs in different colors...perhaps red, a muted yellow and black and top with a lovely toile applicable to season(s)...yellow in spring/summer, red in winter and black for fall...
hope that helps a bit.

I would try the different colors. If you don't like it, you can always paint over it!
