POST SANTA'S FAVORITE COOKIE RECIPE HERE!

Santa is watching over the kitchen area... I am digging through the favorite cookie recipes over the years. What kind of cookie do you leave Santa? Do you leave milk? or a beverage to help Santa brave the snow? Maybe a little spiced eggnog?

Wishing you all happiness as you prepare for the holidays with family & friends!

I've been so so bad about visiting some of my favorite blogs...such a busy time of the year, I guess.
ANYway, I am loving your Christmas decorations...your cottage looks just precious. I loved seeing all the older houses in McKinney...there's some beautiful ones there.
I have made my Candy Cane Cookies every Christmas since 1964. I just finished a batch and put them in my freezer for Christmas Eve.

I am soooo envious that you got to meet Ree...I am such a fan of hers...and to think, not only do you have her new cookbook...it's SIGNED ! GOOD GRIEF !! :o)
My post for tomorrows Foodie Friday is one of her recipes so maybe, .....just MAYBE, I can win one of her books....keep your fingers crossed for me, 'k?
hugs, bj

I love that Chef Santa!

I'm sure having a foodie daughter won't surprise you considering her father.

When our oldest daughter was visiting Santa (the real one @ northpark!) He asked her what she was going to leave for Santa and she said pasta with marinara and he looked at me a little dismayed and I then said would you like a glass of red wine with that and he said that would be wonderful. So now before we go to bed on Christmas eve we make a bowl of pasta for him. Last year Grace, our youngest caught Dad eating Santa's pasta.

Trust me a plate of cookies would be so much easier but the pasta has become a tradition for us.
