Pioneer Woman in Dallas tonight!! AND I WAS THERE!!

YEP- Ree was here tonight and I went to meet her... me and about 450 others all crammed into Borders! The very cool thing is I got there really early .. and I was 8th in line! She signed my book, we all got the adorable book tour tee shirt (no, you can not buy them!) I was thrilled to meet a few blogging buddies... I finally met LUCINDA, I became fast friends with Becky & Sherry, (#6 & 7in line) and I met Kerri who brought Ree the cutest gift basket ever! (why didn't i think of that?) It was a great time had by all... ENjoy the photos and if you get a chance to go to one of her signings you should.

Hugs to all...

My daughter was there till 8:30 and the line was still long- so I told her to leave-

She's a teacher and it's a school night. She tried so hard.

If a book signing is 7pm in Austin, what time do you think a person should get there?

It was great to meet you finally!!! We've got to pop up to McKinney this month. My friends and I had dinner at Fish City a few doors down and we left around 9:30 there was still a line. The people at borders said they expected to be there till 12:00am. Aren't you glad we got gold wristbands!

Hey there gal, it was so good to meet you last night. I just put my blog up about Ree:

OMG, I called the Borders, and they said Ree was there signing books until 2AM!!! Can you believe that!??

Hey, I became a follower of your blog, feel free to do the same for me. You'll actually be the first official follower! All my friends just comment anonymously (they don't understand how important it is in the blog world to be a follower)! haha

Good to meet you - I'm adding you to my Google Reader as well! :)

Valarie, Becky and I loved meeting you last night and your blog is terrific. Spending time with you was an extra blessing on a really special evening. Would you believe, we initially forgot to get our t-shirts and had to go back for them? Thank goodness they still had them.

Blessings, Sherry (Becky's mom)

Were you the one in the black dress and cute black cowgirl boots?? I sat near you on the floor before the lines formed. I just *knew* you were a blogger and today I came across your blog while reading other's blogs about last night. I have a blog, but I am terrible at keeping up...I facebook more than blog. Anyway, LOVE your blog! BTW, I was in the pink group and didn't get my book signed until 11:15pm. We were the "halfway" point, Border's said. I heard she was there until 2:30am. YIKES!

How lucky are you! 8th in line. I was about 212. I was in the third group and got my book signed at 10:00 p.m. My feet were killing me, but how fun was that! Worth the wait.
