I love the large, tropical feel they lend to the garden. In my zone they don't live through the winter outside but that hasn't stopped me from growing them. Some go into the basement and others I just rebuy every spring. They look fabulous against the pretty blue of your house.
I'm Valarie- Texas gal with a gypsy soul. I am a wife, a Mother to a blended family of 4, a Mimi to 2 adorable GRANDboys, a sister and a daughter of an amazing Mother. As a full time career -I am a real estate agent serving the NORTH TEXAS market. Selling homes and changing lives is my passion. In my spare time you can find me in the community giving back to non-profit orgs. I am fortunate to be a resident of the Mckinney Historic District. We love our blue cottage and have called it home the last 11 years. Thanks for stopping by for a glimpse of my world!

One of my favorite plants. Love the black ones too. They look so pretty mixed with caladiums.
