a little hide 'away!

Ran down to East Texas to check on my Mama and a property that is calling our name - in a gated community, surrounded by a lake, hills, golf and lots of East Texas pine trees....

Let's take a peek .. and know ... This is her "BEFORE"

LOVE THIS LAKE, LOVE THE CALMNESS OF THE COMMUNITY!

She needs a bit of work...

love the windows... this side view faces the woods..

Back view... just a small little get'way!

796 feet of decking front, side and back.. perfect for relaxing with family

My favorite part of the cottage!

upstairs loft

small dining area by kitchen.. that needs to be totally rehabbed!!

The seller said you can have all this old stuff - We would just junk it!  Seriously!!

The view from the upstairs loft

I could wake up to this...

Leaving the Piney Woods...

Thoughts??

I love the view! The lake is beautiful also.

Good luck on the renovations on your lake property.

Just DO IT! It's beautiful, calm, serene and it comes with that awesome furniture...what?! Crazy!
I'd love to watch you redo it! xo

Whew ~ lots of work, but so pretty! Valarie are you listing it or buying it?
Which part of East Texas is it? I live 18 miles from Sam Rayburn and 10 miles from the Neches River. We have been looking at lake houses in Trinity close to Lake Conroe.

We also live in East Texas...just south of Dallas... near a lake. There are lots of little properties out around the lake. People seem to love it here...
If you're looking to buy... and redo. That looks like a fabulous little get away spot.

Enjoy~

I would love to get my hands on that place. Rehabbing places like that are what I love to do most. What a find and I can see every bit of potential in there. xo Diana
