The picture frame I found on a curb and painted natural canvas and sanded the edges.. the mirror hanging inside is an old vintage mirror that I found at a local junk store. I love the reflections in the mirror of the collectibles on the shelf with a glimpse of the chandelier hanging.. This is in my Mom's room when she comes to visit.

looks great!
ReplyDeleteLove the song, "How to save a life". Believe it's on my own play list. I had the most wonderful time sneaking and peeking through your windows at your beautiful home. How beautifully eclectic!! It shows you decorate with what you love rather than a predestined theme. BRava!! I look forward to getting to know you. Hugs. Tammy
ReplyDeleteHi Valarie,
ReplyDeleteI have been catching up with you and have enjoyed reading all your posts.
You have been busy decorating and it all looks so pretty and refreshing.
I would like to wish you and your family a happy new year and may all your dreams come true this year!
Hugs, Elizabeth
You are finding the treasures lately, that's for sure!

Very nice! Love the reflection of the chandelier in it!~Patti
ReplyDeleteSweet girl..you are just so darned clever! Who would think of that??
ReplyDeleteOk..what would you do with the lid of one of those apothecary jars. It was clear glass, one of those very large ones..well..not HUGE but large. I dropped some wooden lemons in it and it broke! Very thin glass. I was trying to just sort of roll them in..and blam! It broke out the side and I haven't had it very long! So..the lid is ornate and very pretty. What can I do with it. I hate to throw it out! :) I have tried it on several bowls...looks terrible. Any ideas?
Hugs,
Mona
