  1. Our tomatoes are still orange. Maybe by the end of the week we'll have a few. Your chandelier is darling hanging over the sink. Love it. Looks like someone's going to have fun at camp! Mimi

  3. That's funny you posted a picture of the fresh tomatoes because I have been craving them all day! My tomato plant stopped growing tomatoes and I am dying here!

  8. Valarie,
I'm with Colleen, bread & mayo and you are all set.
Hope you aren't missing Wesley to much. He must be having the time of his life. With an entrance like that, I wanted to go!

  9. Beautiful tomatoes and the color is amazing. Are tomatoes are still green, we keep hoping they will ripen, our little plant has four beef stake tomatoes growing.
Take care and enjoy your day,
    Elizabeth

  10. My kinda supper. Throw summa those babies onto some bread, a dab of mayo and a coupla big slices of Noonday onion and a little salt, and you've a meal fit for a king (queen, rather)!

My kids all went to Pine Cove, and I did, too, as a child. It was some kinda fun! Now, one of my grown sons has been helping rebuild some of the decks out there!

  11. Oh yummy! We got some wonderful tomatoes in Van Alstyne a couple of weeks ago, a little produce stand off the side of the highway. They were the best tomatoes we've ever eaten and that's sayin' a lot since my hubby is from the "tomato capital of the world" aka Jacksonville, Texas!
The best thing I made from them was a tomato pie...it was to die for!

  12. Hi Valarie,
There really is nothing like vine ripened tomatoes! I'm also a native Texan but now I live about 20 minutes from University of Arkansas! Small world.
